The Connection Through the Wall The story centers on two women living in adjacent, cramped quarters whose lives are irrevocably changed by a literal hole in the wall. What begins as a curious discovery quickly evolves into a profound emotional and physical connection. Isolated by their individual circumstances, they find solace in one another, using the breach in their privacy as a gateway to a secret, shared world that defies the boundaries of their physical confinement.

I think it’s a great discussion starter about loneliness and connection. Nice work
No way, I thought the plot was super slow and didn’t care about the characters 🚫
What was up with the ending? It felt super abrupt and kinda unsatisfying.
I’m still thinking about the last scene… does anyone have a good theory? 🤔
I loved how it tackled the complex theme and featured strong, independent women
The cinematography was top-notch! Gonna watch it again
Fire movie! 🔥❤️
Lol nice try with the ‘connection’ theme but it felt forced to me. @Ayse Kaya
I don’t know guys, @Aisha Kadir I’m with you on that, could’ve been toned down some scenes
Would love to see more depth in the character development… some felt shallow to me
Imo the ’emotional connection’ was way overhyped and didn’t impress me at all
I actually liked the lead actresses’ performances tbh
TBH not my cup of tea… could’ve done without the graphic parts @Fatima Al-Zahrani
I was really intrigued by the plot but tbh it dragged a bit for me 😐
Lmao why are we debating the graphic content?
The film felt so real to me, especially the way the characters’ relationships unfolded. I think we need more movies like this that highlight the complexities of human connection.
I loved how the portrayal of these women’s lives was so raw, just like the physical connection they shared with the hole in the wall. It’s such a powerful commentary on intimacy and isolation.
@Jade Morin couldn’t agree more. The cinematography was also incredible, especially in the scenes where the hole in the wall became a literal connection between their lives.
@Hugo Martin I felt the same way. I think part of what made it feel slow was how much time was dedicated to developing the characters’ inner lives, but it did pay off in the end.
I’m not sure if I’m alone in this, but I felt a bit disconnected from the characters at times? Maybe it’s because I was expecting a more dramatic turn of events, but it felt relatively slow-paced to me.
This was a hard movie to watch at times, but in a good way? It forced me to confront some uncomfortable truths about my own relationships and the boundaries I set.
I loved how the director used the cramped quarters to symbolize the suffocation of the characters’ lives and how the hole in the wall became a metaphor for freedom and escape.
