Plot Summary

The story begins on Christmas Eve in Baltimore. Cliff (Michael Strassner), a thirty-something former improv comic who is six months sober after a recent suicide attempt, is trying to start a “normal” life with his fiancée. His plans are derailed when he accidentally breaks a tooth.

Searching for emergency dental care on the holiday, he finds Didi (Liz Larsen), a no-nonsense, middle-aged dentist who is working to avoid the pain of her own crumbling personal life—her ex-husband just got remarried to a younger woman.

After the dental work, Cliff’s car is towed, and Didi begrudgingly offers him a ride to the impound lot. This sparks an unlikely, chaotic adventure through Baltimore that night.
