The story centers on a married couple, Kiara (a PhD author specializing in African spirituality) and Miles (a former MMA fighter and trainer), whose relationship has been shattered by an unspecified tragedy, grief, and unspoken problems. They decide to divorce and sell their former “dream house.”
As they attempt to move out, the house turns malevolent and traps them inside, acting as a sentient and angry force. Held prisoner, Kiara and Miles are forced to confront their literal and figurative demons. The house subjects them to terrifying hallucinations and physical attacks, designed to expose the pain, anger, and unsaid feelings that have destroyed their marriage.
