The legendary King Arthur returns to Britain after years of grueling warfare against the Roman Empire, only to find his kingdom unrecognizable. The “much older” monarch, weary from battle, discovers that in his absence, the sanctity of Camelot has been dismantled. The peace he once fought to establish has been replaced by chaos, and the throne he left behind has been seized by a dark and familiar force.
