I was skeptical at first but Gerard Butler’s performance blew me away. The plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat till the end.
@Lubna Patel TBH I was a bit disappointed by the ending. It felt rushed and didn’t do justice to the story.
@Tyrone Reid But that’s the whole point of the movie – the law is a messy, imperfect thing. The ending was a reflection of that.
Fire movie! Definitely wanna watch it again #BringTheLaw
What’s with the lack of attention to detail on the action scenes? They looked really cheap to me.
I loved how Gerard Butler’s character stood up for what’s right despite the odds against him. The cinematography in this film is outstanding as well!
I completely agree with you, Sofie. But I think the film could’ve gone deeper into the corruption of the officials involved.
I disagree, I think the film did a great job balancing action and drama. The cast is top-notch, especially Kweku Amponsah as Detective Vance’s partner.
I think Gerard Butler’s performance as Detective Elias Vance is on point. He brings a depth of emotion to the character that makes the audience connect with his struggle.
Just watched Bring the Law and I’m speechless. Gerard Butler shines as the protagonist. The way he navigates through corruption and personal losses is heart-wrenching. What’s next for Detective Elias Vance?
Not sure about the movie, felt like it dragged on a bit. Wanted the plot to pick up faster. How many movies has Gerard Butler been in?
Agreed with @Kulnipa Somjai, it did feel a bit slow. However, the acting was top-notch. Can’t wait to see more of Detective Vance
Just a reminder, guys, let’s keep the discussion civil and spoiler-free for those who haven’t seen it yet.
Thanks for the heads up, Chidi. Can we talk more about the action sequences, though? Outstanding stunts, right?
Just watched Bring the Law and I gotta say, Gerard Butler’s performance as Elias Vance is top-notch. You can feel the intensity and weight of his character’s consequences.
Has anyone else noticed the similarities between Bring the Law and the ‘No Way Out’ case in 2015?
Yikes, Vivian, you always bring up such heavy topics. I’ve gotta take a break from this one.
I’m still trying to process the plot twist involving Alex Chen. Mind. Blown.
Wilma, good point, I think we intentionally left that plot thread open for audiences to draw their own conclusions.
I agree with Chiedza, the movie does a great job of showing the consequences of bending the law for personal gain.
