I was really disappointed with this sequel tbh. The romance was way too forced and unnatural
@Fatima I have to disagree. I think the romance was kind of sweet and it progressed logically
@Axel they had to create tension somehow and it worked
@Sakura I agree with you on that. This one felt much more developed
@Ifeoma omg yes!!!! That costume was EVERYTHING
Loved the soundtrack!!!
I didnt like how Mal was portrayed as being ‘tortured’ by being a ‘perfect princess’. It felt like a weak excuse for her bad behavior
Can we pls talk about how good the special effects were? I was blown away!
Why did they even make Jay and Ben antagonists lol
I love how diverse the cast was, but can we talk about how poorly they portrayed the villain’s backstory?
@Lukas I completely agree with you. It felt like they glossed over so much and made it seem easy
What was with the cliffhanger ending tho? Did anyone else leave the theater going ‘what just happened?’
@Emma same girl! I’m still trying to process it all
OMG the villain was SO dramatic I loved it!!! 😂
@Tamar same!!! That villain was EVERYTHING😂
Just saw the movie with my squad and we’re all still reeling from how iconic the villain’s costume was 🤣
TBH, the plot was kinda predictable tho lol
@Sofia I feel the same way! The plot was kinda meh for me
This movie was SO much better than the first one! The cast and the plot were so improved
I’m so glad they finally showed the girls being more empowered and less obsessed with the boys
I loved how Mal had to choose between her old life and her new one. It’s relatable to growing up, you have to find your own path and not let others decide it for you.
I completely agree with Mal, being a perfect princess is exhausting. It’s like they’re trying to erase your true self.
@Siyanda Mahlangu I feel like Mal is getting the short end of the stick, she shouldn’t have to choose between her love for Ben and being a princess.
The movie is so underrated, I loved the message of embracing who you truly are.
What do you guys think about Evie’s character development in this movie?
