During their investigation, the siblings accidentally trigger a sequence that releases a malevolent entity. This being, which has been trapped in the fabric of time and space for millions of years, is far beyond human comprehension. Once dormant, it now begins to manifest within the farmhouse and the surrounding woods, wreaking havoc and distorting the reality of everyone it encounters.

I didn’t like how the movie relied so heavily on convenience.
Why did they have to stumble upon the artifact in the first place?
@Eyal Ben-David I see what you mean, but I think the convenience was necessary to move the plot forward.
It was still a fun ride, though!
I loved the concept of a malevolent entity being trapped in time and space, but I felt like the pacing was off.
Why did they have to release it now of all times?
@Youssef Benali I agree with you on the pacing, but I think the movie did a good job of setting up the stakes.
The tension was palpable, but it felt like it was rushed at the end.
