The plot takes a turn when two thieves break into his home. Rather than fighting them off, Hutch’s passive response disappoints his family and his son. However, this event reignites a long-simmering rage in him. Hutch is revealed to be a former “auditor,” an assassin who worked for various government agencies. He is drawn back into his violent past and uses his skills to get revenge, ultimately confronting a ruthless Russian gangster.
