I was thoroughly impressed by the visuals in Shogun’s Ninja! The action sequences were breathtaking, especially the ones set in the ninja village.
@Máté Horvát totally agree with you! The cinematography was stunning, I felt like I was right there with the ninja.
What’s with the historical inaccuracies? I was really looking forward to a more authentic portrayal of feudal Japan.
@Jean-Pierre Mbeki unfortunately, it’s not the first film to sacrifice accuracy for entertainment value. Still enjoyed it, though!
I found the story to be a bit predictable, but the performances stole the show for me. The lead actor’s portrayal of the Shogun was chilling.
@Khaled Amrani I sort of had the same issue, but I think it’s because the film was trying to balance action and drama. Still a great watch!
Has anyone else noticed the echoes of The Hidden Fortress in Shogun’s Ninja? The score was reminiscent of that classic film.
@Biruk Alemu yes, I caught those influences too! The composer did a great job of paying homage without overpowering the story.
I must say, I was a bit disappointed with the movie’s portrayal of Japanese culture. I think they could have done a better job with accuracy and sensitivity.
@KwabenaFrimpong I understand where you’re coming from, but I think they did a great job of adapting the story to a modern audience while still being respectful of Japanese culture. What did you think of the score?
@NurSyafiqah Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the movie. As for the score, I loved it too! It really added to the tension and drama of the film.
@AgusPrasetyo You were amazing in the movie! I loved your character’s complexity and depth. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
Just saw it with my family and we were all blown away by the action and drama. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves historical epics!
@AdeolaFasanya Same here! We saw it with our friends and had a great time. The movie was a lot of fun and it was great to see the actors do such a great job of bringing the characters to life.
Absolutely loved this reimagining of Shogun! The action scenes were intense and the cast was phenomenal, especially the lead actor, Agus Prasetyo. He brought so much depth to the character.
@DamionCampbell I completely agree! Agus Prasetyo was fantastic and the cinematography was stunning. What did you think of the supporting cast?
@SophieLavoie I think they did a great job with the supporting cast, especially Manuel Machava as the Shogun’s advisor. He added so much to the story.
I’ve seen better historical dramas. The pacing was slow and the plot was predictable. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
