The Real Housewives of Johannesburg Season 2 returns to the “extraordinary” heights of luxury, following the lives of some of the city’s most affluent and “not nice” socialites. The narrative centers on the “spiritual cost of power” as these women juggle their “burning ambitions” with the pressures of prestigious family life. From high-stakes business ventures to the “stark and severe” reality of social rivalries, the season explores the “hardware” of their success. It is a visceral study of “resilience and status,” where the “unwavering connection” of friendship is often tested by “ruthless ambition” and the “head-spinning” pace of life in the City of Gold.
