In the heart of a secluded region, Patience “PJ” Jalingo (Genoveva Umeh) is a city girl out of her element. Posted to a rural community for her National Youth Service (NYSC), she expects the usual challenges: no electricity, borehole water, and stubborn students. Instead, she finds a town haunted by “The Silent Reaper”—a mysterious killer who strikes only during the harmattan haze.

I loved how the movie showcased the cultural clash between PJ’s city background and the rural community. It made for a compelling story.

Yeah, I think it’s worth mentioning that the NYSC program is a real-life experience for many young adults in Nigeria. It’s a great way to learn about community development.
The cast did an incredible job, especially Genoveva Umeh as Patience. I loved her portrayal of PJ’s growth throughout the story.
