Storyline
The dynamic shifts dramatically when Skylar, a 17-year-old with a high level of emotional intelligence and a background in competitive debate, is abducted. Unlike the previous victims, she begins to deconstruct her captor’s own trauma and behavioral patterns. By leaning into the “roles” he assigns her, she manages to manipulate his expectations and sow seeds of doubt in his mind. The film evolves into a claustrophobic game of cat-and-mouse where Skylar must maintain her performance long enough to find a physical weakness in his fortress, leading to a harrowing final confrontation where only one can emerge alive.
