Hellfire (2026)
Rondo is ruled by Jeremiah Whitfield (Harvey Keitel), a ruthless crime boss who runs a massive cocaine distribution network out of a local brewery. Jeremiah treats the entire town as his personal slave army, using his entitled and violent son, Clyde, to terrorize the residents. The corruption is absolute, as even the spineless Sheriff Wiley (Dolph Lundgren) is on the payroll, ensuring no one ever leaves and no outsiders ever stay.

@Amaka Nzekwe agree
What’s the point of the movie’s ending tho?
This movie takes a dark and unflinching look at the consequences of organized crime. Harvey Keitel’s performance as Jeremiah Whitfield is chilling.
I couldn’t believe the twists and turns in this movie. Once I thought I knew where the story was headed, but it threw me off guard.
@Santiago Ramírez I understand what you mean, but for me, the predictability was actually a good thing, it made the movie feel more like a character study
Have you guys noticed how the cinematography portrays the desolation of Rondo? It really sets the tone for the rest of the movie
@Marcin Wójcik yes, the camera work is stunning, but I think the real standout is the performances from the supporting cast
@George Evans I know, it’s a harsh reality that a lot of people face every day, but it’s movies like this that bring attention to the issue
I think Jeremiah’s character is so well-crafted, he’s the perfect example of how greed can consume someone totally
@Valentina Fernández I completely agree with you, Harvey Keitel brings a level of depth to the character that makes him both terrifying and pitiful at the same time
This movie is a real eye-opener, it’s crazy to think about how big of an impact the cocaine trade has on local communities
I have to say, the plot was a bit predictable for me, but the themes and the performances made up for it
I loved the score in this movie, it added so much to the overall mood and atmosphere
