In this acclaimed workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers—and a hilariously tone-deaf principal—are brought together in the halls of a Philadelphia public school. Despite the odds constantly stacked against them, they remain fiercely determined to help their students succeed, proving that a lack of resources is no match for a surplus of heart.

Though these incredible public servants are habitually outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do—even if they have zero patience for the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children. In Season 5, the staff at Abbott continues to navigate the chaos of the classroom with grit, humor, and the occasional “creative” workaround to get their kids the supplies they deserve.
