Based on the classic 1997 film, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is a 2025 American slasher film and the fifth installment in the franchise. It serves as both a sequel to the previous films and a soft reboot of the series, bringing a fresh take on the classic story.

In this installment, a new group of five friends accidentally causes a deadly car accident and decides to cover it up, making a pact to keep their secret. A year later, they are targeted by a mysterious killer who knows their dark secret and is out for revenge.
