About:

Superhero Movie” (2008) is a comedic spoof of popular superhero films, particularly Spider-Man. It follows Rick Riker, a high schooler who transforms into the superhero “Dragonfly” after being bitten by a mutated dragonfly. As he learns to control his powers, he faces off against the evil “Hourglass,” who plots to achieve immortality at the cost of others’ lives. Packed with absurd humor and parodies of superhero tropes, the film is a lighthearted take on the genre.
