The plot follows Piper Strickland (played by Gianna Lutz), whose brother, Jason, vanishes while in the forest. Despite warnings and the police’s indifference, Piper and her three friends venture into the woods to find him. As they go deeper, they uncover terrifying truths about the legend and realize they are being hunted by an ancient, malevolent force. The film blends suspense, found-footage style elements, and a classic monster movie aesthetic to create a terrifying atmosphere.

“The Texas Witch” was released on digital platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Tubi, in June 2025.
